I have fond memories of going to visit melas she use to invite us over to swim in her pool when I was young and I enjoyed visiting in her home it was such a charming country home I remember it well it was beautifully decorated and cozy..she was so fun to visit with she was alwaysin a great cheery mood ...God rest her soul such a fine lady...prayers to the family

Jane , Jill , Billy , Brady. My sincerest condolences for you and your families. Mela became a big part of my life as a child , adult and parent. I learned many of my handmade skills from her and continue to apply them to my daily life. Pomanders and candle making always bring her and my Mom to mind. She was a wonderful friend to my Mom , who received the news with sadness. We will remember her with warm thoughts always. Peace to you all.

So many fond memories. Picking greens and making wreaths, popcorn balls at Halloween, playing school in the barn, homemade root beer and homemade everything else. A warm and caring soul.

I have such fond memories of Brady's birthday parties at the pool. Everyone was always excited to be invited. Your mother always made sure that everyone had a great time.
