Barbara Niccum's Obituary
Barbara A. Niccum, 61, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Garret, IN, daughter of Veronica (Mikrut) Cattell and the late Joseph T. Cattell. Barbara worked as a quality analyst for UTC. She was a member of St. Edward Parish, enjoyed gardening, sewing, and volunteering her time at CRIS Radio. Besides her mother, Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Ronald Niccum; two sons, Douglas and Brian Niccum; two siblings, Bruce Cattell and his wife Shellie, and Beth Scherer and her husband Doug; many nieces and nephews; and several other extended family members. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 2-5 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will take place in Christian Union Cemetery, Garrett, IN. Memorial donations may be made to Connecticut Radio Information System, 315 Windsor Ave., Windsor, CT 06095.
