Benjamin Michalec's Obituary
Benjamin S. Michalec, 82, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late John and Susie (Kutka) Michalec. Ben was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict, and had worked in real estate while he lived in California. Ben is survived by a sister, Pauline Eilau; two brothers, Martin and Edward Michalec; numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends including Patrick Soucy. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 from 9-10 A.M. with a funeral service to take place at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
