My Aunt Blanche raised my dad Ivan Russel, her baby brother, because their mom died when he was 2. He always thought of her as an angel and she was an angel to all of us.
My late husband, Charlie, was a first cousin of Blanche. I met Blanche & Walter at 'Uncle Joe's and Aunt Helen's' in S.Windsor when we first moved to Conn. from Penna.; many fond memories. I am sorry I am unable to attend funeral services. Thoughts and prayers are with all the family.
