Charles R. Brooke's Obituary
Charles R. Brooke, 80, of Willington, CT passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 6, 2025. He was born in New York City, son of the late Paul and Agnes (Gildea) Brooke. He worked as a systems engineer in the garment industry throughout his career, and proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Charles is survived by his son, Alex Brooke and his wife Kristine; granddaughter, Alexandra Mae Brooke; brother, Richie Brooke and his wife Ann; sisters, Jane Kolbig and her husband Ron, and Janice Sahagian and her husband Robert; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Christa (Szymansky) Brooke; and brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Paul Brooke and his wife Barabra. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Matthew Church, 111 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT. Military Honors will take place at the conclusion of Mass. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville, IL will be private.
