Charles E. Hoffman's Obituary
Charles E. Hoffman, 60, of Willington, CT, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Windham Hospital. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of Donald and Barbara (Klee) Hoffman. Chuck was retired from the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation. Chuck loved the 49ers, hunting/fishing with his son, his DOT family, four wheeling/snowmobiling and making people laugh. He was such a social butterfly and would spark a conversation with anyone. He loved traveling with his wife and going on many adventures with her. He loved becoming a grandfather to his beautiful granddaughter. He treated his nieces and nephews as his own. He was loved by all that came in contact with him. Beside his parents, Chuck is survived by his wife of 33 years, Laurie (Dupuis) Hoffman; his son, Charles D. Hoffman and his wife Sarah; his granddaughter, Taylor Hoffman; two sisters, Linda Anselmo and her husband Joseph, and Nancy Dwire and her husband Jim; two sisters-in-law, Ann Gile and her husband Mike, and Barbara Dupuis and her companion Mary Vashalifski; three brothers-in-law, Kenny Dupuis and his wife Laurie, Ulric Dupuis and his wife Marilyn, and John Dupuis; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 4-7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. His funeral service will be on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 10 A.M. at the Storrs Community Church, 90 Tolland Turnpike, Coventry, CT. Please meet directly at the Church.
