Craig Robinson's Obituary
Craig D. Robinson, 54, of Cedar Swamp Rd., Monson, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 17, 2007 at Wing Memorial Hospital, Palmer, MA. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of Barbara (Jensen) Robinson and the late David H. Robinson. Craig was a graduate of UMASS Amherst and the Western New England College School of Law. He was self-employed as an attorney, practicing under the Law Office of Craig D. Robinson in Palmer, MA. Craig was general council for many Postal Workers Unions and several Federal Unions throughout the northeast, and for Pioneer Valley Labor Council AFLCIO. He initiated the APWU Labor internship program with the Western New England College School of Law. Craig was also general council for the United Roofers Union Local #248 and the Amalgamated Transit Union #22 and #448. He was also a former member of the Monson Finance Committee, former president of APWU Local #497, and former chairperson for Mass. COSH. Craig is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Linda J. Tonoli; a son, Christian S. Robinson, both of Monson, MA; his mother, Barbara J. Robinson of Stafford Springs, CT; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leo and Dorothy Tonoli of Stafford Springs, CT; three sisters, Susan Robinson, Karen Robinson and her husband Bruce Boys, and Lisa Ostrowski, all of Stafford Springs, CT; two nephews; two nieces; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral will be held on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in West Stafford Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held at a later date. Calling hours are on Thursday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
