I have many good memories growing up with Dave and some of the best were just hanging around the garage talking. He really was a good guy and stepfather. My condolences to everyone

To all of David's family ~
I am so sorry to hear of David's passing. We shared a lot of laughs "back in the day..." and he will be missed. The last time I saw him was 15 (ish) years ago and bandaged up my son's wrist while we were visiting at my parent's. Makes me smile to think of it. You are all in my prayers as you move through this difficult time.
To Gary and Family, Our thoughts and prayers got out to you and your family.
Dear Judy and Family, So very sorry to hear of David's passing. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. RIP David Patsey and Family
Time flies by and before you know it part of your childhood/early adulthood is gone. That is how I felt with Dave’s passing. In the time that we spent with him, he took on a role that was far beyond his years. He was only 22 when he met and married my mom. Although most of the time he was like a big kid, he also showed us a lot of love. I learned how to do my first snow plowing billings, learned what an over the shoulder boulder holder was, and that I didn’t like deer meat. I learned how to shoot a shotgun, what an excavator was, how to ride a snowmobile, and many other things that only someone in a father figure role could do. He also loved and adored my daughter, his “boo-baby”. I have many fond memories of her brushing his hair and riding on the lawnmower. I know time and circumstances caused us to only speak ever so often, however I will never forget the things he taught me or the love he showed my mother, my brothers, my daughter and I. My condolences to the entire family.
