Thank you for offering a space for those of us to share our thoughts and joys on Dave. Dave is, and will always remain, a special fellow human being in our lives. We cannot forget his grand smile, eyes wide open, and arms that seemed to stretch a mile across, reaching out for a hug. Anything that was his, he would without hesitation, declare as ours. Whether it be yard tools, a bottle of red wine in the summer months, or a cozy seat by the backyard fire, he makes us surrender to a lifetime of fellowship as both neighbors and friends. Dave hasn't truly left us. He is larger than life both in breath and spirit, and his wide embrace will be waiting for us at anytime we need. Thank you Dave for being funny. Thank you for being stern yet gentle. Thank you for having a heart of gold in what can seem to be an unjust world. Thank you for bringing us together and for sharing your space with us. We love you.
