Dorrit and I were very good friends in grammar school. I spent countless days at her house. We loved taking walks in the rain and hanging out with her brother Jon. I have many fond childhood memories with her.
I met Dodi at family gatherings at the Nicholson home. She was a beautiful person and we had many nice conversations. She will be missed by all.
My Condolences To The Nicholson/Stanford Family 🙏🏾🙏🏾

I am Tim's Mom and was Dodi's mother-in-law. My son, Tim loved Dodi and they had a good marriage. They went on vacations and day trips and enjoyed life. We loved Dodi like a daughter. Our family and friends embraced her at all the family gatherings. Her unexpected passing has left family and friends shocked beyond words. She had so many years ahead of her but it was not to be.
These are some of the things we will miss about Dodi.
--She was larger than life.
--She had a beautiful smile and her laugh was infectious.
--She was a tall, very attractive redhead.
--Dodi loved to shop. She was a fashionista , always dressed impeccably and I never saw her wear the same outfit twice.
--She made the best cheesecakes and cookies.
--She adored cats and probably would have had a houseful but Tim thought three cats and a dog were fine.
--Lastly, she loved all her family. Dodi and Tim doted on their grandkids, Victoria and Emelene. They are too young to understand that Dodi will no longer be around but that Tim, Papoo , will always be there for them.
Dodi we will all miss you so but it's a reminder that human beings are very fragile creatures.
Love,
Rani & Gus Nicholson

I am heart broken to hear about the passing of Dodi. She was a wonderful person who I shared many conversations and laughs almost every day with. She will truly be missed. My thought and prayers to her entire family.
