Dodi M. Nicholson's Obituary
Dodi M. Nicholson, 54, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 2, 2018. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of Joan (Carroll) Stanford and the late Carrington M. Stanford, Jr. Dodi was a veteran of the United States Navy, and currently worked as a records specialist for the State of Connecticut Department of Corrections in Suffield, CT. Her hobbies included going to the gym, reading, and going to food festivals. She also enjoyed traveling, her cats and dog, but above all, she loved her family and spending time with her granddaughters. Besides her mother, Dodi is survived by her husband, Tim Nicholson of Stafford Springs, CT; two children, Jessica Nivison and her husband Gregory of Manchester, CT, and Ryan Beilmann and his wife Angela of Farmington, CT; two granddaughters, Emelene and Victoria; four siblings, Carrington Stanford and his wife Valerie, Kathy Carey, Lori Stanford Tyburski and her husband John, and Jon Stanford and his wife Nancy; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Will Stanford. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 5-8 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will take place privately in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
