Dorothy Danick's Obituary
Dorothy Danick, 99, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Joseph Danick, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2013. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Paul and Minnie (Thiesing) Turschmann. Dorothy retired as a licensed practical nurse from Johnson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Stafford Springs Congregational Church, where she served on the Women's Council, was a Deaconess, Trustee, and former chair of the music committee. Dorothy is survived by her niece, Dianne Magrone and her husband Michael; two nephews, Fred DeCicco and his wife Kay Hackney, and John DeCicco and his wife Veronica; and two great nephews, Marc Magrone and Luke DeCicco. She was predeceased by her first husband, Louis B. Baldracchi; two sisters, Gertrude Valentine and Lillian Webber; and brother, Richard Turschmann. Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 from 4-6 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. A Church Service will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 10 A.M. at the Stafford Springs Congregational Church, 3 Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
