A correction Class of 1978
I Remember Mrs Dimmock she was home at home teacher at Glassbury high school I made a cape that was one side corduroy and one side wool all doesn’t stretch the corduroy does she gave me an eye for incomplete so I made her a New York cheesecake and I got an A+ on my report she was a tough lady. I guess she meant well, but I know she had a pet person named Pamela Redfield. I graduated class of 1978. My name is Marybeth Victoria LAKOMY that was my memory of Mrs. Dimmock
Mrs. Dimmock was my home economics teacher when I was in high school in the GHS graduating class of 1975. She was wonderful and taught us so much for our life skills. She was a great lady. God bless her family.

Mrs. Dimmock was such a great Home Economics teacher! I was a student of hers at Glastonbury High School from 1970-1972 taking all of my favorite subjects. She was very "strict" but always personable and fair. We learned so many important life skills in cooking, sewing, and child care from her. We had our 50th Class Reunion in 2022, and we reminisced about Mrs. Dimmock's classes. Sending condolences to the family and cherish the memories of her long life.

Dorothy was may Home Economics teacher at Glastonbury High School back in 1953 - 1954. In later years I enjoyed visiting with her at a Grange meeting.
My sincere sympathy I extend to all her family. Sincerely Kathryn Ruff.
Several years ago I had the opportunity to record an oral history with Dorothy, asking about her life on the farm and memories of growing up in Rockville. She had wonderful and informative stories to tell. We spent a delightful afternoon together. A classy lady loved her job at RHS and her family. With sympathy. Jean Luddy. Vernon Historical Society
It's funny...l was just thinking her. She was my teacher for Home Economics for two years in 1967 and 1968. To this day l remember her "sayings"......maintain a clean environment.....plan your ingredients......the order of washing dishes starting with silverware.....showing us the characteristics of muffins..... consoling us when Binny Montooth died. I always got the impression she loved to teach.
Doris, Mark iam sorry to hear about your mother passing and I know her and mom are now together up in heaven and she taking care of her
