Douglas W. Stanish, 63, of Willington, CT, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2014. He was born on January 8, 1951 in Hartford, CT, son of the late Frank J. Stanish, Jr. and Shirley (Todd) Stanish. Doug lived most of his life in Wil Read Obituary

Roberta and family it's a great lose i have known Doug it seems like forever thru our daily business dealings we worked well together and I'll miss all conversation we had.

I knew Doug for over twenty years and know that we all have lost one of the good guys. Doug always welcomed people with a smile and a good story. Over the years I have recommended many of my older friends and family to Doug. All of them expressed their experience with the words that they were treated with honesty and respect by a true gentlemen. We will all miss Doug. I feel that we have lost a of Willington when we lost Doug.

Doug a self made man, husband, a dad, a granddad, and most of all a damn good guy. he will be remembered by me and many others, as a super friend. My good friend is gone, but he will never be forgotten and I know he would want all of us to keep smiling. Sorry for your loss. My fondest memory of Doug was when we build a treehouse on my mother's property. Doug was a good friend and great guy he will be missed by all that knew him.
