Din Hagenow
My condolences to Rita and family
Have known Ed for a long time, fished, hunted and just enjoyed his company.
Ed was always laid back and fun to get along with, here's a story to describe that.
It was opening day of muzzle loader season, Ed got up to my house before daybreak with his new muzzle loader that had never been fired, I asked him if he thought it should have been sighted in to make sure it shot straight, he said it would be fine, so we fires a couple caps off to make sure there was no oil in it to keep it from firing properly. Set him up down in the valley on a known deer run and I hunted up a hill on the other side of the valley and jumped a deer without getting a shot, the deer circled around and headed down the valley and within minutes I heard a shot. I knew there we're other hunters around so didn't know who shot. Finally got back down to where Ed was and he had a smile standing over that nice 6 point buck, a day I'll never forget.
