Elizabeth Mcdermott's Obituary
Elizabeth F. McDermott, of Holliston, MA, beloved wife of the late Francis J. McDermott, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Framingham Union Hospital, Framingham, MA. She was born in Brighton, MA, daughter of the late John J. and Mary (O'Leary) McMahon who were born in Ireland. Elizabeth retired as an inspector from General Electric. She was a member of St. Mary's Parish in Holliston, and an active member and past treasurer of U.E.R.M.W. of America. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Barbara M. McDermott of Stafford Springs, CT; two grandchildren, Timothy J. Latour of Syracuse, NY and Sarah M. Latour of Stafford Springs, CT; three great granddaughters, Aubrey, Michele, and Madison; her brother, Arthur McMahon of Hopkinton, MA; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 11 A.M. at St. Mary's Church, 708 Washington St., Holliston, MA. Burial will be held privately in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5022, Wallingford, CT 06492.
