Evelyn P. Hood's Obituary
Evelyn P. Hood, 90, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Harold W. Hood, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Evergreen Health Care Center. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Angelo and Josephine (Cini) Pellizari. Evelyn retired as a clerk having worked at the former Stafford Printers and TYCO. She was a member of St. Edward Church, the St. Edward Ladies Guild, and the Stafford Senior Center, and loved watching UConn basketball. Evelyn is survived by two sisters-in-law, Esther and Marie Pellizari; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers, Renato, Albert, Oscar, James, and Edward; and two sisters, Jeanette and Alyce. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 10-11 A.M. with a funeral service to take place at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT.
