Dear Carolyn,
My name is Dick Litke and Freeman and I worked closely together at Aetna for a number of years in the 60's. We both reported to Art Klee and had a challenging and creative
experience in designing and building a system called Midas. We became close friends,
and I recall visiting your lovely colonial home in Broad Brook to view your magnificent
lilacs which were in full bloom. Likewise, you and Pat visited our home in Simsbury
with another couple, perhaps the Klees, but time has dimmed the memory.
In the late 60's Art Klee was transferred to Aetna's Life Insurance Division, and I followed
him there. Pat and I worked in different areas of the building, and pretty much lost touch
with one another. However, occasionally our paths would cross, and it was so enjoyable
reliving our Midas days together.
Pat was a kind, honest, true friend, and I will always remember him with great fondness.
I share your sorrow in his passing, and we remember you and your family in our prayers.
Dick Litke
