George P. Nagy, 99, of Ashford, CT, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 in the comfort of his home. He was born in Ashford, son of the late Gustav and Gizella (Bashnak) Nagy. George worked as a tool grinder at Pratt & Whitney Read Obituary
Gerry, so sorry for the loss of your dad. You are in all in our thoughts and prayers.He was a wonderful man who did a lot for the town and church community. He will be remembered for his talents such as singing but also for his service and kindness to others.
Gerry, so sorry to read of your Dad's passing. Like my father, Lee, he had a good run and you were lucky to have had him in your life for so long. There aren't many of the "old guard" left in Westford. George was a wonderful man and one of a kind.

My sympathies on the loss of a wonderful man. For many years I sang in St. Philip's choir and I always appreciated George's strong and confident bass voice which contributed so much to the music. It was impressive how he continued to sing long past an age at which most people would not be able to climb the stairs.
But even more, I appreciated his warm and friendly manner and the twinkle in his eyes. We all loved George!
Gerry, So sorry to hear of George’s passing. Kathy and I have known George for over 40 years. He was never afraid to speak his mind! We sang together at church and with the Choraliers. George served on a

Gerry, your father was one of a kind. Very strong willed and opinionated, but for the good of all involved. I'm happy to have known him through church and town functions and will always remember his great sense of humor.
