I met Nan 26 years ago, Kathie was 15 and I was 17. I was like a second son. We have had many memories good and bad but we all loved family, food, the beach and our dogs. It has been tough watching her battle with many health problems along the way but to die on "Good Friday" was by appointment. An old wives tale says that those that die on "Good Friday" go straight to heaven. She had her ticket already punched as she was very devoted to God. She said he was a "Good God" and this gave her peace. I will miss her very much and feel at peace that my children will have an angel looking upon them as they grow up and live in this crazy world. Our final days together were special and we both felt a closeness that a mother and son-in-law should hold forever. Her last wishes were that her husband Tom be taken care of, and that's what we will do. Although the road ahead will be with heavy hearts we can not be selfish, as she has received a special invitation, one with God. I Love you
