Helen Allen's Obituary
Helen (Malack) Allen, 75, of Mansfield, CT and formerly of Willington, CT, beloved wife of the late Michael Allen, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Willington, CT, daughter of the late John, Sr. and Anna (Mikusek) Malack. Helen retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture after 35 years of employment. She was a member and past treasurer of the Mansfield Senior Center. Helen was an excellent cook, and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and quilting. Helen is survived by three sisters, Mary and Rose Kubacka of Stafford Springs, CT, and Anna Kubacka of Willington, CT; brother, Frank Malack and his wife Kathryn of Willington, CT; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, John Malack, Jr. A calling hour will be held on Friday, January 9, 2009 from 12-1 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 P.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT.
