I had the honor of knowing Iola for 15 years; she lived in the community I managed. Iola always was willing to help others and was an avid volunteer in our community. I spoke with Iola last week and she thanked me for her time spent at Florence Mill. She also passed on a note she wanted published in the newsletter saying goodbye to everyone. I will honor her wishes and publish it next month. Her "saying goodbye" certainly has a different meaning now and will touch everyone who reads it.
