Iola Rose's Obituary
Iola M. Rose, 84, of Stafford Springs, CT, and formerly of Rockville, CT, beloved wife of the late Perlin H. Rose, Sr., passed away on Friday, October 17, 2008 surrounded by her family. She was born in Wales, MA, daughter of the late Forrest and Iola (Bristol) Heck. Iola retired as a textile worker from Warren Woolen Company. She was a member of the Staffordville Congregational Church, a hospice volunteer, and was an active volunteer at Florence Mills in Rockville. Iola is survived by her seven children, Norma Luchon of Webster, MA, Kristin Couturier of Stafford Springs, CT, Perlin H. Rose, Jr. of Utah, Sandra Stanton of Bristol, CT, Sharon Ulitsch, Terrance Rose and his wife Deborah, and Roger Rose and his wife Kathy, all of Stafford Springs, CT; 25 grandchildren; 59 great grandchildren; three great, great grandchildren; a brother, Monroe Heck of Chicopee, MA; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Ronald Rose; two brothers, Raymond and Forrest Rose, Jr.; and a sister, Fay Kuehl. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Wales No. 4 Cemetery, Wales, MA. Calling hours are on Monday from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
