To Jackie's Family - I would like to express my deepest sympathy to all of you for the loss of Jackie. I had the pleasure of working with Jackie at Clark University and a pleasure it truly was. Jackie's smile, words of encouragement and always sound advice helped me through a number of challenges. My first few encounters with Jackie were for professional guidance but through our many conversations I got to know Jackie beyond just work conversations. Her husband, her children and her grandchildren were certainly the loves of her life and her face would light up as she was speaking about any of them. Jackie dealt with the diagnosis of her illness with such grace. May she rest in peace and may all of you find comfort in your memories and the knowledge that Jackie was a special part of so many peoples lives.

Brooke, Alicia, Joshua, Ed and families. There are no words to adequately express our heartfelt sorrow and heartache in the loss of your mom and wife, Jackie. We can only say that she touched our lives in a big way in the few short years we all became family together. I am especially grateful for the friendship that Jackie and I shared as a result of becoming mothers-in-law and grandmothers together, which we both treasured dearly. She was a joy to be around, so friendly and personable to everyone, making every person comfortable in her presence. She will be greatly missed. We share in your sorrow. We wish you all healing, comfort, and peace, and we hope that your memories will sustain you always.

Jackie Capomacchio was a great colleague. In her role as Director of HR at Mount Ida, she was the first person on campus that I met through the interview process. Her ability to connect with colleagues was unmatched and she was always willing to talk, listen, and bring her sense of humor to most any situation. I hope that her family knows how blessed so many others have been to have Jackie as a part of their professional lives and I want to thank them for sharing her with us.
