Joan Collar's Obituary
Joan C. Collar, 81, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Ray and Florence (Drake) Holmes. She retired from The Hartford and then worked as a processor at Fleet Bank for several years. Joan is survived by her two children, Bonnie Vendette and Gregory Nunes; son-in-law, Paul Gompper; four grandchildren, Paul Nunes, Jason Vendette, Eric Vendette, and Nathan Gompper; six great grandchildren, Adrianna, Antonio, Zachary, Angelic, Ethan, and Evan; sister, Diane Holmes; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 1-3 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately.
