Joan E. Naylor, 72, of Somers, CT, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Fox Hill Center, Vernon, CT. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Eddie and Rose (Sierputowsky) Ravetto. Joan was a homemaker and Read Obituary
Joan was one of my older cousins who I didn't know all that well until I moved to Stafford. My Mom was her Mother's sister who lived with me so Joan use to stop by to visit. I got to know Joan and it seems like every time she stopped over we would engage in a political discussion. Thankfully we shared similar opinions. Also would see her sometimes at the Big Y where we would continue our worldly discussions out in the parking lot. Like her Mother she carried a good spirit and good soul and will be missed.

We were lucky enough to share Joannie's friendship over the past 40 years, and cannot begin to count the times of laughter, sadness, rousing religious and political discussions, family celebrations and milestones. Deepest condolences on your loss. Joan and I grew up together in the duplex
on Stafford Street. She was one of my first friends when we moved to Stafford from Rhode Island and our families were close. I have many fond memories of our youth with Jimmy, as well. It was a shock to hear of her passing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Jeannine Martin Upson
