Joan E. Naylor's Obituary
Joan E. Naylor, 72, of Somers, CT, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Fox Hill Center, Vernon, CT. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Eddie and Rose (Sierputowsky) Ravetto. Joan was a homemaker and had worked for many years as an office manager. She was detailed and creative in everything she did, and had a passion for cooking and needlework. Family and faith were most important to her. She was a devout catholic, and was a member of St. Edward Church and All Saints Church. Joan is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Buzz Naylor; three children, Steven Naylor, Stacey Naylor and her husband Rob Pivacek; and Nathan Naylor; two grandchildren, Amy and Adam Pivacek; three brothers, Jim Ravetto and his wife Nancy, Eddy Ravetto and his wife Connie, and Bill Ravetto; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial for Joan will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 12 P.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will take place privately at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to St. Edward Church, 6 Benton St., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
