Joan C. Snedeker, 87, of Willington, CT passed away on May 20th at Manchester Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Newport, RI, daughter of the late Joseph and Stacia (Kaminski) Konopka. Joan grew up in W Read Obituary
Mrs. Sned was always friendly and welcoming the many times I was down to see Mike or when we all went so see Mike in a scouting event or playing in a basketball game. And her and my mom could talk! Good thing it was a local call because they were always chatting it up. Mr. and Mrs. Sned would also got together with Alice and Gerald to play setback or cribbage back in the day. Wonderful person, wonderful family. Condolences to all that love and miss her.

We, next door neighbors in The Villages, enjoyed our frequent 'driveway' chats to catch up on her love of linedancing and her other social activities. She was always on the go with one thing or another. Joan loved being here in The Villages, but she was really excited to move back to family where she could spend time with her cousins and children. We felt like we knew each one of them personally because she talked so often about them. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all who enjoyed sharing life with her; and especially to her family, whom we know will miss her terribly. Charles and Judy Stuart
Joan and I shared many adventures throughout the years and those memories make me smile. She was my sister, from another mother, a cousin by birth and a favorite fellow traveler. To say I will miss her is an understatement. Thanks for the memories!
