John Galica's Obituary
John H. Galica, 87, of Moulton Hill Rd., Monson, MA, died on Monday, October 23, 2006 at Wing Memorial Hospital, Palmer, MA. He was born in Windber, PA, son of the late John F. and Sophie K. (Naglak) Galica. John was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He retired as a wire drawer from Bethlehem Steel after many years of service. John is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Ida Galica of Monson, MA; a daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Allen Belliveau of Monson, MA; two grandchildren, Alana Corriveau and her husband David of Monson, MA, and Steven Belliveau and his wife Beki of North Carolina; two great grandsons, Jesse and Zachary Corriveau; three brothers, Frank, Edward, and Paul Galica; two sisters, Rosalee Harrington and Anna Vierra; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2006 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Philip Cemetery, Ashford, CT. Calling hours are on Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 US Highway 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902-4301.
