John Greene's Obituary
John C. Greene, III, 70, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at his home. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late John C. Greene, Jr. and Sadie (Meyers) Greene. John served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps, and then as a corrections officer for the State of Connecticut for 26 years retiring in 1989. He is survived by his loving wife, Madeleine (Talbot) Greene; three children, Tammie Bernier, Kim Grenfell, and John C. Greene, IV; five grandchildren; and a great granddaughter. At John's request, funeral services with burial in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately.
