Kathryn (Dunay) Malack, 89, of Willington, CT, wife of the late Francis “Frank” Malack, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 after suffering with a long illness. She was a life-long parishioner of St. Edward Church in Staffor Read Obituary
Harold & I send our condolences to your whole family. I was about 14 when Uncle Frank and Kate got married. She was a wonderful addition to our family, and I enjoyed seeing their four children grow up over the years. After Uncle Frank died Kate asked me to stay in touch, and I gladly did by phoning her once in a while. I enjoyed talking to her and hearing her laugh. She was a good Catholic role model for all of us. I never realized that she was only about ten years older than myself. Irene K. Peterson
I miss and hold onto grandma's laughs from back in the day every day. When she would make her lamb cake at Easter, told us she's one tough bird, our walks and many memories together. While I wished she didn't have to experience what she did in the end, she lived quite a life and I'm incredibly grateful for her and the gift that she was being a part of my life and to others. I have no doubt that she's in a better place and will look over us...hopefully sending signs along the way.
My deepest sympathy to the Malack family, especially Sally, She was always a joy to talk with; catching up on all the news in Willington. RIP
