Kathryn D. Malack's Obituary
Kathryn (Dunay) Malack, 89, of Willington, CT, wife of the late Francis “Frank” Malack, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 after suffering with a long illness. She was a life-long parishioner of St. Edward Church in Stafford Springs, CT, where she served as the housekeeper and cook for a 25 year term during the time of the Franciscan Friars. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family. She loved the outdoors and caring for her home and yard. Kathryn is survived by her four children, Joan Mercier and her husband Robert, Joseph Malack, Brenda Malack, and Sally Pauloz and her husband Rick; ten grandchildren, Amy, Megan, Sarah, Caitlin, Robert, Michael, Jennifer, Katie, Thomas, and Andrew; great granddaughter, Iris; sister, Margaret Woytik; and many nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024 from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. The family is thankful for the care that Kathryn received from several caregivers during the span of her illness.
