Kathryn Spink's Obituary
Kathryn H. Spink, 62, of Hall Rd., Union, CT, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Brimfield, MA, daughter of the late James V. and Mary M. (O'Keefe) Howlett. Kathryn retired from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft as a material analyst after 40 years of employment. She was also a former co-owner of A & B Sports Shop in Vernon, chairman of the Board of Finance for the Town of Union for eight years, and a Justice of the Peace. Kathryn is survived by her beloved husband of 13 years, Michael J. Royce, Sr. of Union, CT; her son, Michael J. Royce, Jr. and his wife Mary of Ellington, CT; a grandson, Michael J. Royce III; a sister, Barbara Moran of Monson, MA; and six nieces and nephews, William Cadieux, James Cadieux, Joanne Hoffey, David Cadieux, Jacqueline Metcalf, and Barbara Ann Cote. She was predeceased by a sister, Joan Smithies. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Union Center Cemetery, Union, CT. Calling hours are on Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
