My dearest brother Kemp, my heart aches knowing you are gone from me.

You were my mentor for so many years. I always felt special when you picked me first or second to be on your team when we played pick up baseball or basketball. I learned so much from you over those years and the many experiences we shared, helped me be the person I am today.

I am so happy I was able to reconnect with you, Darlene and Morgan this summer at the lake house. You all were so special helping me get my place set up. It was great having you nearby.

I was looking forward to spending so much more time together. I will miss your hearty laugh and smile.

These past few days have been the most difficult in my life but I have received so much support from our great family and friends. I love knowing you were a special person in so many other lives you touched.

My Kempy,Im so mad as I am writing this cuz you said "don't worry, I'm not going anywhere". All your little annoying habits and things you did to piss me off, I already miss and would give anything to hear again. You were the best Dad to Morgan, always there for her (whether she wanted it or not!) And I always knew I could count on you, to fix things, annoy me or make me laugh. Today I will take my last ride with you. Thank you for Morgan and all these crazy years. I will love you always.

To all the Stewart family It is with extreme sorrow and sense of that I am feeling of the passing of Dear Kemp. I have so many wonderful memories of the times he shared with us. There was the fun at the lake, enduros, snowmobiling and the parties we had. He will always have a special place in my heart that can never be filled. My sincere sympathy to all his family. Im so sorry for your loss. Kemp was an awesome guy and will be sadly missed by all. I grew up with the Stewart family and went to school with them. Im sure he is watching over everyone now.

Although we did not live close by, we always looked forward to your visits and phone calls. With the new technologies such as, Skype and Face Time, we were able to stay in touch and share what was going on in each other's lives. We especially enjoyed our time together in June when the whole family came to North Carolina. We will miss you so much, Kemp. Love, Dad and Sylvia

Mr. Stewart-
I can't say that I knew you extremely well but thank you for all the memories that we got to share together, be it hitting golf balls around your backyard, or sitting and watching a nascar race. Every time I am sitting in your living room I can picture you in your spot on the couch, asleep, with your head back and some random movie playing on the TV. It was incredible to hear other people talk about you and how much they respected and looked up to you. Hopefully someday I can be the kind of man that you were. Thank you for everything Mr. Stewart. You will be missed
