Kemp Stewart,'s Obituary
Kemp B. Stewart, Jr., 58, of Willington, CT, passed away due to injuries sustained in an accident on Tuesday, September 24, 2013. He was born in Fayetteville, NC, son of Kemp B. Stewart and the late Elsie (Hatt) Stewart. Kemp is survived by his loving wife, Darlene (Meacham) Stewart; two children, Morgan B. Stewart and Zachary MacDonald; two step daughters, Shauna and Shannon Murphy; step grandson, Brennan; his father, Kemp B. Stewart and his wife Sylvia; four siblings, Kane Stewart, Joy Stewart, Jay Stewart, and Gene Stewart and his wife Linda Sue; several aunts, uncle, nephews, and cousins; and many dear friends. Kemp graduated Stafford High School and since worked in aerospace industry, most recently employed by Whitcraft LLC. He loved riding and racing motorcycles, winning the New England Enduro Championship in 1993. A proud father who spent a lot of time coaching and attending most of his daughters basketball, softball and volleyball games. In more recent years he had become an avid golfer. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Friday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
