Lena C. Beebe, 72, of Willington, CT, wife of the late Edward “Ned” A. Beebe, passed away on September 29, 2018. She was born on August 28, 1946 in Sweden, daughter of the late Borje and Asta (Rojning) Linnersten, and came to the Read Obituary
Lena and I had fun during our travels to Sturbridge for groceries, then lunch at her house or Willington Pizza. She was full of stories and reminiscences about her family in Sweden and here in CT. Her no-nonsense perspective was refreshing to hear. Her devotion to Roxie was sweet. My sympathies to her children and grandchildren. Even though she didn't want you to fuss over her she loved you very much and you were always her priority.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I've known Lena since 1976 and she was a great person to be around. She was also a good friend and I will miss her a lot.
Christina and Eric, I was very lucky to have Lena in my life at a VERY early age. I loved the time I got to spend with her and you guys too. Your Mom was so funny, caring, and I always had a blast at your house. I remember waiting by the window for you all to arrive when I was younger. I truly cherished the time I got to spend with your family. Everyone always had me cracking up! Thank god Lena came up for the Swedish festival and we got to see you all then.
