Lorraine A. Smart, 89, of Stafford Springs, CT, and formerly of Newington, CT, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in South Portland, ME, daughter of the late William and Glady Read Obituary
My memories of Lorraine are few but what is constant throughout is her love of family, and all children. She donated supplies to my classroom before she had even met me, and the children were thrilled. She was a warm and generous woman and she is leaving a wonderful legacy of kindness and love .
Sandy and family your mom will be missed by many and I am one of them. Mommom as I called her was the sweetest lady and always with a smile. God is with her now and she is at peace!! Love you mommom
