My first memory of Lou Ann is of her with her long braids and school uniform welcoming me to the neighborhood and walking me to school. We lived across the street from each other throughout our childhood and early adult years, her house being the place I could always go without an invitation. Somehow the memories of early years become stronger as time goes by. I always admired and even envied Lou Ann for being adventurous and not afraid to do the things I feared……walking in the dark, riding her moped, speaking up for others when they couldn’t. Hers is a strong and gentle spirit that lives on through Tom and their girls, grandchildren, Elaine, Lary and all of her other family members and friends. Her spirit will continue to warm many hearts and come at odd times to bring a smile to many faces.
Rest with those who love and have gone before you to the next phase of being, Lou Ann

My deepest sympathies goes out to all of Lou Ann’s friends and family. I know she will be missed by all. Rest In Peace my friend. Bridget Burke Landry
