Lynda W. Bacon, 77, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Jacksonville, NC, daughter of the late Gordan and Thelma (Justice) Walton. It is impossible to describe Ly Read Obituary
We've gotten some questions re: the reception - wanted to share that both the reception and service are open to all. The other thing we wanted to share - was that Mom was adamant that when her time came - this would NOT be an overly somber event. So many of you have already shared that your memories of her were of her laugh, her smile, her sense of humor... so we are inviting any/all of you to think of fun/funny stories you have - memories of laughs you shared. You can either share them here - or you can email/text me - and we'll read them off during the services! Anyone brave enough to speak in front of a crowd - is welcome to share in person!
John Kelly and family .. I so sorry to hear about passing of your mom… She was such loving and happy person .. Her smile was contagious.. She was such A sweetheart . she will be missed by so many. may she continue to do gardening in the heavens..Mya she rest easy🙏🏻❤️
Lynda and I were friends through the years . We brought up our sons, John, and Kurt Thompson, during the same time period. Every time I saw her she was upbeat and smiling. That's what I remember the most. She'll always have a special place in my heart. I send my most sincere sympathy to John and Kelly. Through all the things she taught you, she will always be with you.
