Maria Solecki's Obituary
Maria (Mis) Solecki, a resident of Union, CT, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the age of 99. Born on December 20, 1924, in Poland, Maria immigrated to the United States with her late husband, Roman, in January 1968. Together, they built a life in Connecticut. In the mid-1970s, Maria discovered a passion for art. Initially drawn to working with clay, she later explored a variety of mediums, creating beautiful sculptures and paintings. After Roman's passing in 2017, her beloved dog, Mysia, remained a constant source of companionship until the very end. A visiting hour will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
