What a sweet and wonderful woman you shared all these years. The last time I saw Marlene about a year ago, she was as warm and friendly as I had remembered her half a century ago.
Her company will be missed. Our bodies and minds can leave us less than we knew ourselves to be... and so with Marlene. Her love and kindness surpass any strife she may have undergone with time.

Dear Shelley:
I send my deepest and hearfelt condolences to you and your family at this difficult time. I keep thinking back to our conversation that we had a couple of months ago regarding your mom and mine. We made the connection that our mom's were both suffering from the same disease. Both are known as MeMe and now as I read here are mom's are both from Caribeau Maine. Wow, is the only word that I can say at this time. The world truly is a very small place.
