Childhood experiences and memories should be full of wonder and joyous times. I can look back through my younger years and recall so many moments of Dad being there to explain things and encourage me.
Electric trains and racecars
Model rockets and model cars
Hook a worm and cast a reel
Peddle a bicycle, paddle a canoe
Bodysurfing and diving
Walkie-talkies, and card games
BB guns, Bow and arrows
Mini-bikes, and go-carts
Dogs, Horses, Ducks, Turtles, Fish, Birds and Donkeys
Drive a tractor, a truck and a dogsled team
Snowplowing, splitting firewood, mending fences
Pitching horseshoes
John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies
His greatest lesson was his unspoken compassion and respect for all of nature. To leave no trace of my presence, and to not disturb the balance of things. I will continue to trek the pathways and trails of my life and continue to do no harm, as I pass through this life to eventually rejoin my father. Thank you, Dad, for contributing and participating in my life's journey. I am a better person because of you. Love always.
