Marshall Farrington's Obituary
Marshall W. Farrington, 77, of Monson Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Manchester Memorial Hospital, Manchester, CT. He was born in Bridgeport, CT, son of the late Marshall W., Sr. and Eleanor (Card) Farrington. Marshall was a U.S. Army veteran having served his country during the Korean Conflict. He retired as a corrections supervisor from the State of Connecticut. His hobbies included his horses, dogs, and spending time outdoors. Marshall is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Armelin) Farrington; seven children, Bruce Farrington, Bonnie Benson, Marsha Starr, Melissa Farrington, Brian Shackway II and his wife Diane, Brenda Bednar and her husband Richard, and Susan Johnston and her husband Jim; eight grandchildren, Alexander Farrington, Jamie Blatt, Stephen Bednar, Kevin Bishop, Reuss and Stephanie Harvey, and Tyler and Devan Shackway; three great grandchildren, Michaela, Chase, and Hailey Blatt; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother and sister. His funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
