Mary Galotto's Obituary
Mary H. Galotto, 84, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late William B. and Mary (Cunningham) Hanley. Mary retired from Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company as a licensing clerk. She was a member of St. Edward Parish and the Stafford Senior Center. Mary is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 61 years, Emery A. Galotto of Stafford Springs, CT; her three children, Elaine Melnick and her husband George with whom she made her home, Thomas Galotto and his wife Debra, all of Stafford Springs, CT, and Marie Carcia and her husband Frank of Enfield, CT; seven grandchildren, Susan Melnick, Joseph and Kaitlyn Galotto, David and Michael Galotto, all of Stafford Springs, CT, and Donna and Peter Carcia of Enfield, CT; a sister, Patricia Dunay and her husband Michael of Stafford Springs, CT; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Martin Galotto; grandson, Stephen Galotto; brother, William B. Hanley, Jr.; and sister, Barbara Aubuchon. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2008, with a procession forming by 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
