Dear John and Bill,
I regret I was unable to attend the services today, but let me assure you Maryann and her family were in my thoughts and prayers.
My memories of Maryann stem mostly from our youth. What a wonderful carefree time we all enjoyed growing up! The many, many picnics our families shared at Bigelow Hollow, the Sunday nights when your "Auntie Irene" made homemade pizza for all of us, and so many other memories come to mind.
One thing I remember most about Maryann was her laughter...I can still hear it in my mind. These are the memories I will keep with me and hope memories of these times will help you through the tough times, too.
Jon and Jeffrey, I do not know you personally, but I am certain you are two fine young men as you had a most wonderful, caring mother. I remember at family reunions she would show me your photos and update me on your lives. She is finally at peace from her struggle. May you find some comfort in that.
My condolences to the family,
Cousin Joan
Dear Family, The difficult hour is approaching as Mike and I head out to the funeral home. Your Mom and I have been good friends since our children were young. We've now become grandmothers to their youngsters. Know that she loved you all very much. We've seen much joy and yes, some sadness. Throughout her illness, she had such a positive attitude. She was a symbol of courage for all. Her extraordinary, quiet faith allowed her to "put my life in God's hands." She was a beautiful person. I've been blessed to have known her. Love, Georgette
Maryann was a pleasure and a joy to work with and spend time with. She has been greatly missed by the people she worked with. Our prayers have been with her since the beginning of her journey. Please keep her in your hearts forever and remember a monument of wonderful, loving memories is with you forever. She is with God and at peace in His love.
Jon, Lisa and family,
We are truly sorry to hear of Maryann's passing. She was a sweet and courageous lady who adored her family and will long be remembered for such qualities.
Please know she, as well as all of you, have been in our prayers since we first heard of her illness.
May the peace and comfort she now enjoys remain with you in the days and weeks ahead.
We are ever grateful having had her in our lives and her memory will live in our hearts always.
God's love and peace be with you.
Love,
Jerry & Cherie
Maryann was an incredible woman with such courage and strength. She was an incredible friend and I will never forget her. The world needs more people like Maryann. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time. Just know that she is in peace now and God is watching over her. Peace be with you now and always.
