Maryann Daggett's Obituary
Maryann B. Daggett, 62, of Baxter St., Tolland, CT, passed away with family by her side on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Stafford, CT, daughter of the late Boleslaw and Anna (Hopko) Babiel. Maryann is survived by her two children, Jeffrey E. Daggett and his wife Sharon of Willington, CT, and Jonathan E. Daggett and his wife Lisa of Portland, CT; four grandchildren, Austin, Brianna, Cody, and Brady; two brothers, John Babiel and his wife Darla of North Carolina, and William Babiel of Mansfield, CT; her children's father, Harvey E. Daggett of Ashford, CT; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many dear friends. She was predeceased by a son, Jason W. Daggett. She was a loving, devoted mother and grandmother, and was an incredibly generous person who was loved by all who knew her. She was a faithful member of St. Matthew's Parish. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2009, with a procession forming by 1 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2 P.M. at St. Matthew's Church, Tolland Green, Tolland, CT. Burial will follow in North Cemetery, Tolland, CT. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
