Dear Melba...It was truly an honor to care for you and spend your last days with you before your journey. Gary always promised you would pass in your home. You left an impression on all of those who crossed your path whether for a momentary passing or a length of time. Each life you touched was enhanced by your stories, especially when you brought out the family photos of "down home", and the "basket of eggs". I so wish some of your grandchildren could have experienced the stories you and Jimmy told while walking though the old homestead in Virginia. What a trip that was when we crossed the line and you saw the county sign and said, "hot damn I'm finally home". God bless you Melba and may you watch over all of us, help to guide everyone through this time with your beautiful memories.
Some of my family's fondest memories are of Sunday dinners at the Zelonka. home. The times we shared with Aunt Melba, Uncle John, Janet, Gary and Becky will be a part of our memory for the rest of our lives. We have another angel in Heaven to watch over us.

Mom....I don't know where to begin. We all think our parents will live forever but as we know it doesn't happen. i am going to miss those nightly chats and you scolding me about going to work in the snow. i am going to miss hearing that southern accent and that feisty spirit. you never ceased to amaze. you had a great heart and always saw good in people and was always so giving. i will remember the sunday dinners where we
never knew who was going to be at the table. you always invited anyone who walked thru the door to join us.

Becky and family... Sorry for the loss of your mom... I have fond memories of your parents and of sister and brother at the Home Pride picnics when we were little. And your dad helping my mom with out little Toy Fox terrier dogs.. Sorry I can not be there to say my condolence's in person but Scott and I are thinking of you..
