Melba M. Zelonka's Obituary
Melba (Morris) Zelonka, 92, resident of Stafford Springs, CT for over 50 years, wife of the late John A. Zelonka, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 29, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born in Ringgold, VA, daughter of the late Alfred J. and Lorina (Bryant) Morris. She was a member of Stafford Baptist Church, current member of Corporal Henry Toberman VFW Post No. 938 Ladies Auxiliary, and former member and president of the VFW Post No. 9990 Ladies Auxiliary. Melba is survived by her two children, Gary Zelonka and his wife Donna, and Rebecca “Becky” Nash; five grandchildren, Sara, Randy, John, Layne, and Paige; a great grandson, Grayson; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was predeceased by her daughter, Janet Golab; two grandchildren; ten brothers; and two sisters. A calling hour will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 11 A.M. – 12 P.M. with a funeral service to take place at 12 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
