I just heard of Michael's passing today. I used to work with him at Windham Tech where he gave so much to the students as a science teacher. He shared his wisdom and touched many lives. I had the pleasure of attending one of his churches fundraisers for Haiti. He was passionate about his faith and openly shared in his prayers to our lord. His presence here on earth will be missed but he is home with the lord amongst all those who are there awaiting us to join them. God bless you Michael and all the family. May you be at peace and live on with the memory of him in your hearts.

We are praying for you, Cathy, Diana and Eric and the rest of your family; Ed too. Mike was a man who made melody with his guitar and with his life. In band, he would politely ask me what note I played at a certain point in a certain song and kindly offer a suggestion or two. Without saying too much he helped me get in tune. Like music, he helped me get in tune with in a personal matter I shared with him. I was out of “tune” and he helped me find harmony in a situation. He was a precise man in many ways. His outfits were always sharp, his pleats crisp, shoes polished, hair perfectly presentable and his speech seasoned with grace. He was a gem of a man and will be missed. The days ahead will be difficult, but you are loved by many. I pray Gods arms comfort you and the good memories you shared bless you.

Mike was a gifted and diligent teacher at Windham Tech. He had high standards, he taught with excellence and passion, and he truly loved the curriculum, and most importantly, his students. I was blessed to call him my colleague and friend.

My dear cousin, it’s so sad to hear of your passing. Although I haven’t seen you in many years we have had some great laughs and conversations. I remember you playing your guitar and singing, John Denver songs and your mom would join in and start singing along. Those were special moments that I will always cherish in my heart forever! I really enjoyed talking with him and we sang together once or twice.
Mike his wife Cathy and I shared a couple of visits at Open Hearth together. It was a privilege working alongside the two of them and
I absolutely LOVED his guitar playing skills along with his singing with the group was truly a blessing to all.
May GOD comfort, strengthen and Bless Cathy and the entire family.
