Norma R. Formeister's Obituary
Norma (Ricci) Formeister, 100, of Stafford, CT, wife of the late Edward Formeister, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025, one month shy of her 101st birthday. She was born in Stafford, CT, daughter of the late Frenchi and Teresina (Mottes) Ricci. Norma was a graduate of Stafford High School and Springfield Hospital School of Nursing. She worked her entire career as a registered nurse at Johnson Memorial Hospital, and was a parishioner of St. Edward Church. Norma is survived by her two sons, Frank Formeister and his wife Joan, and James Formeister and his wife Jampa; six grandchildren, Jessica Carrieri and her husband Jesse, Jenna Cormier and her husband Brian, Alyssa Zeizel and her husband Jason, Jeffrey Formeister, Marc Formeister, and Eric Formeister and his wife Rachel; three great grandchildren, Mia Carrieri, Natalie Zeizel, and Zoe Formeister; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother and sister, Albert and Emma Ricci. Funeral services with burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately.
